We run a number of professional development and qualification courses for the Outdoor, Training and Education Sectors. Course Directors Elspeth & John Mason are expereicned trainers who can tailor the course to your needs and interests, and make it a fun learning experince.  Mere Mountains/ JEM Training is a National Skills Acedemy approved Outdoor sector training provider. • First Aid at Work (HSE approved provider) 6hr EFAW 18hr FAW plus AED FAW requalification and annual refreshers

Casualty Care First Aid Training is a HSE approved training provider in it's own right (HSE apporval no 02/05) All trainers are expereinced outdoor leaders (APIOL) and have a background in Mountain Rescue and outdoor first aid.

All our 16hr courses are suitable for NGB and AALA needs, and are reported as being at a slightly higher standard than REC/ITC. Access to level 4 courses is only for people with sufficient previous expereince.

First Aid at Work courses with an outdoor element are also suitable for this plus for Horse Riding Instructors.  The 8hr course is sufficient for RYA and Scout requirements. Shorter courses are for people working close to assistance.

Mountain Leader (Summer) Training & Assessment 

NSA Quality Assured course provider. Expereinced trainers with a broad background in training and education as well as mountain experteese. High standard accomodation (usually  twin rooms ensuite ) For more details of all MLT courses please call John on 015395 35030
