    We are one of the longest established specialist outdoor activity providers in     the Lake District.  We think we have something that will suit nearly everyone -     and if we don’t…… we’ll link you to someone who has. We have an AALA  (HSE Adventure Activities Licensing Authority) licence to provide an extensive range of  adventurous activities and outdoor education programmes and we have the  qualifications and experience to tailor sessions to a range of educational outcomes. 

Adventure : Many activities are suitable for all ages and abilities, some are only suitable for older teenagers and adults. We cater for both small and large groups of family and friends, as well as organised corporate and youth groups. Private tuition  available for individuals/couples (off-peak discounts). 

Outdoor Education Programmes;  run from a YHA hostel or from self catering accommodation units in the Lake District or the Dales.  John and Elspeth Mason are both qualified teachers, and have run many residential school programmes for junior and secondary schools in the private and public sectors. All our programmes are agreed with the school, and designed to meet Learning Outside the Classroom objectives and to support pupils in their personal and social development. We can also deliver courses for acedemic or GCSE course outcomes if required.

Youth Group Programmes  day courses, weekends and full weeks. Accommodation in self-contained woodland-site self-catering units. Please check out the youth adventure days we have put together specially with young people in mind. Staff are experienced at supporting young people and youth projects, are CRB checked and have done safeguarding training for working with groups. 

Corporate Events, Teambuilding & Team Development.  We design programmes to meet your aims and budget.
